Mexican American Council

Who is MAC?

The Mexican-American Council (MAC) is a not for profit agency organized to improve the quality of life in the South Florida community by the advancement of education, healthcare, family engagement, multi-cultural understanding, and civic engagement.

Special attention is provided to farm workers and their families. MAC has been a constant advocate of community issues regarding farm workers and their families, and has promoted civic engagement and civil rights in the community.

Their programs offer several opportunities for students to become college and career ready, provides literacy to non-English speaking adults, and scholarships for students who qualify.
