Bilingual program - since August 2015 - Grades k-12
Our comprehensive bilingual program equips students with full biliteracy, cross-cultural competence, and advanced academic mastery from Kindergarten through 12th Grade.
We have provided foundational Spanish instruction from Kindergarten to 8th grade, alongside advanced high school courses including AP Spanish Language and Culture and AP Spanish Literature and Culture.
To ensure academic rigor and student readiness, candidates are selected based on a comprehensive placement test that evaluates their communicative skills in reading comprehension, writing, and oral communication.
The Advantages of Bilingualism and AP Coursework
Mastering two languages goes far beyond communication—it is a cognitive and professional powerhouse.
- Cognitive Superiority: Bilingualism enhances problem-solving, multi-tasking, executive functioning, and mental flexibility.
- Global Competitiveness: Fluency in a second language opens doors to international career opportunities, diplomacy, global business, and diverse cultural connections.
- Early College Advantage: Introducing AP coursework early gives students a head start on college-level expectations, builds academic confidence, and develops rigorous study habits.
- College Credit & Seal of Biliteracy: High AP exam scores earn college credits, reduce future tuition costs, and graduates who pass their AP Spanish Language exams earn the official Seal of Biliteracy, making their transcripts stand out to top-tier universities.
