Miami Community Charter School opens its doors to students for the very first time. There are over 125 students enrolled in grades K-4.

June 2, 2006

5th Grade graduation K – 5 Total number of students: 220

March 19, 2007

Miami Community Charter School has been recognized in the national and international community, most notably at the Oxford University Educational Quality Roundtable Total number of students : 290

March 6, 2009

MCCS is recognized by Governor Charlie Christ in State of the State speech. Florida House & Senate Recognition K – 8. Total number of students: 340

The opening of the Microsoft Certification Academy 6 – 12. Digital Design Certification Academy 9 – 12. Applied Health Science Certification Academy 9 – 12. MCCS joined FHSAA. Total number of students: 940

June 19, 2014

First High school Graduation.

August 24, 2015

Beginning of Bilingual Education Program with the support of the General Consulate of Mexico in Miami K – 5. Beginning of Dual Enrollment Program 10 – 12. Total number of students : 1070

June 19, 2017

MCCS’ first Kindergarten class graduated from High School. Total number of students: 1025

August 19, 2017

MCCS’ Class of ‘ 2030 Entered Kindergarten K – 12.

October 19, 2017

Beginning of Dual Enrollment Program in Middle School 9 – 10. Total number of students : 1020
