Mission Statement

At MCCS (Miami Community Charter School), our faculty is committed to empowering our students through mentorship to be held accountable by teaching them to embrace responsibility, demonstrate mutual respect, and engage in open communication. Our continuous collaboration of all stakeholders will provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes students’ social-emotional and academic growth. Students will feel secure in embracing new challenges by identifying their individual strengths motivating them through goals, and celebrating their victories. Through our endeavors and dedication to community service, our students will achieve their full potential and become productive members of society.

August 16, 2004

Miami Community Charter School opens its doors to students for the very first time. There are over 125 students enrolled
