Miami Community Charter Schools look forward to welcoming back our students, parents, and teachers to the school year 2020-2021. We are starting the year 17 of serving our community during a challenging time, and we continue believing that “We are Stronger Together”.
Our schools’ reopening plan is developed carefully and in response to the needs of our community. This plan is approved by Miami Dade County Public Schools and the Florida Department of Education. We have discussed the details of the plan with the school parents on July 20, 2020.

Reopening Plan- School Year 2020-2021-Opening August 31, 2020

We are committed to providing our students with the best academic programs in a safe environment. This year, the definition of the safety and wellbeing of our students and teachers has changed because of COVID-19. Therefore, the school will begin in Phase I, where we can reduce the health risks by avoiding the large crowds. The details of Phase I are on Page 15 of the Reopening Plan.
The school year will begin and continue with the regular hours, programs, and services. We will continue updating the information as needed. In the meantime, a list of essential information is posted on the website for your convenience. Our school tradition and spirit is based on turning obstacles to new opportunities. I am confident you will join me, our schools’ principals, Mrs. Alba and Mrs. Papili, and our entire staff to continue this tradition without interruption.

En Miami Community Charter Schools esperamos con entusiasmo dar nuevamente la bienvenida a nuestros estudiantes, padres y maestros para el año escolar 2020-2021. Comenzaremos el año

El plan de reapertura de nuestras escuelas ha sido desarrollado cuidadosamente, y en respuesta a las necesidades de nuestra comunidad. Este plan ha sido aprobado por las Escuelas Públicas del
Condado Miami Dade y por el Departamento de Educación de la Florida. Hemos discutido los detalles de este plan con los padres de nuestra escuela el día 20 de julio de 2020. Estamos comprometidos a proveer a nuestros estudiantes, los mejores programas académicos en un ambiente seguro. Este año la definición de seguridad y bienestar para nuestros estudiantes y maestros ha cambiado debido al COVID-19. Por tanto, la escuela comenzará la Fase I, de manera que podamos reducir los riesgos a la salud, evitando los grupos con gran número de personas. Los detalles de la Fase I, se encuentran en la página 15 del Plan de Reapertura.
El año escolar comenzará y continuará con las horas regulares, programas y servicios. Continuaremos actualizando la información según sea necesario. La tradición y espíritu de nuestra escuela siempre ha estado basada en convertir obstáculos en nuevas oportunidades.
