Students of grades 6-12 walked in nervous when they saw the prestige of the warehouse, but rose to the task of volunteering and were told frequently by GEM personnel “They are leaders and work well together.” Not only did our students pack over 400 boxes for families likely headed to Turkey, but they showed characteristics of the young adults that they are becoming. They have also asked to come back before the school year ends!

We will be mailing children’s books our students made to donate to Turkish families as well.
